• The first story focuses on CVC or simple closed syllable words.
• The second story adds consonant blends and suffix -s.
• The third and fourth stories focuses on the VCe (vowel-consonant-e) syllable pattern.

Your child can re-read each story as many times as needed. Once they comprehend each page, they should also illustrate it with color. Don't forget to help them write their name under "Illustrated by," so they can feel some ownership. These books may end up being a keepsake for the scrapbooks!
