Cut up this 30+ page PDF into actual interchangeable puzzle pieces or use as is. Some early readers will have difficulty to seeing words as syllables, so this is an easy way to start teaching your early reader to see words as parts of a whole. Don’t forget to get creative and make up new words. Only common prefixes and suffixes are used. Once your child has mastered reading these word parts or affixes, they can also practice spelling.
