Each vowel team card uses keywords to teach the correct sound per spelling. Each sound/spelling utilizes a photograph of the keyword in the real world to help the early reader remember the new sound.

Some vowel teams have more than one sound, so they will have more than one card. Some sounds have more than one spelling, make sure you explain this to your early readers.
