Most of the books print on 1 page one-sided and must be folded twice into a book. A few must be cut and stapled.


Each story focuses on one early reading sound/syllable pattern including the below patterns:


  • CVC and consonant blends (8 books)
  • ar, or, ir, er (3 books)
  • ee, ay, ai (2 books)
  • oa, oe, ow (3 books)
  • VCe silent e (3 books)


Your child can re-read each story as many times as needed. Once they comprehend each page, they should also illustrate it with color. Don't forget to help them write their name under "Illustrated by," so they can feel some ownership. These books may end up being a keepsake for scrapbooks!
